Gathering

I guess the summer makes you more aware of people because you are out there with everyone.  You don’t have your head down trying to get from one place to another and out of the wind and cold.  You feel and hear the sounds and see all the movement.  People moving up stairs, pouring out of a bus or train. That is what I am trying to paint.  All the different movements and the different moods that surround  the gatherings.   Not a moment but  movements.  
I put a few new ones in that are not recent but they show you how I was thinking about this approach to my image making a few years ago.  
The condo painting is new.  Some one asked me the other day where I get my ideas.  I pointed to my head and said, “I have been storing images up there for 80 years.”  Nobody can steal them and they just keep coming.
